Camden is a city in Benton County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 3,828 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Benton CountyGR6.

Camden is located at 36247N, 8859W (36.046344, -88.085944)GR1. Only three miles west of the western branch of the Tennessee River, Camden is approximately 20 miles south of Paris, TN; 85 miles west of Nashville, TN; and 120 miles east of Memphis, TN.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 58.5 km (22.6 mi). 28.7 km (11.1 mi) of it is land and 29.8 km (11.5 mi) of it (50.88%) is water.
